On 14 June 2022, Associate Dean for Research and International Affairs Dr. Wasinrat Nualsiri organized international lecturers’ training session on the topic of “Instilling the concept of entrepreneurship in foreign language classroom” by Mr. Mohammad Syah’izzat, Kulliyyah of Languages and Management, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Our guest speaker Mr. Syah’izzat shared with us his pedagogy on how to encourage students to practice their foreign language skills through social media platforms with entrepreneurial mindsets. On this occasion, our faculty members including French, American, Australian, Filipinos, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Myanmar, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Laos, and Thai also exchanged our experiences on how to teach languages and culture while building up students’ entrepreneurial skills.
