วันที่ 17 กรกฎาคม 2569 ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อรอุษา สุวรรณประเทศ คณบดีคณะมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร นำ Professor Dr. Jason Baird Jackson นักวิชาการด้านคติชนวิทยาและมานุษยวิทยาจากสหรัฐอเมริกา ผู้ดำรงตำแหน่ง Ruth N. Halls Professor of Folklore and Anthropology สังกัด Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology, Indiana University Bloomington, United States of America และ Visiting Professor ประจำคณะมนุษยศาสตร์ เข้าพบ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ศรินทร์ทิพย์ แทนธานี รักษาราชการแทนอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร เพื่อแนะนำตัวและหารือแนวทางการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวรและ Indiana University Bloomington การหารือครั้งนี้มุ่งเน้นการต่อยอดความร่วมมือด้านการเรียนการสอน การวิจัย และการแลกเปลี่ยนบุคลากรทางวิชาการ โดยเฉพาะในสาขาคติชนวิทยา มานุษยวิทยา ชาติพันธุ์ดนตรีวิทยา และศาสตร์ด้านมนุษยศาสตร์ ซึ่งเป็นความเชี่ยวชาญของ Professor Dr. Jason Baird Jackson ที่ได้รับการยอมรับในระดับนานาชาติ จะเป็นประโยชน์อย่างยิ่งต่อการพัฒนาการเรียนการสอน การวิจัย และการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในระดับสากล อันจะนำไปสู่การยกระดับคุณภาพการศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวรในอนาคต พร้อมทั้งเสริมสร้างศักยภาพทางวิชาการและความเป็นนานาชาติของมหาวิทยาลัยให้มีความเข้มแข็งและเป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับสากล
On 17 July 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Onusa Suwanpratest, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Naresuan University, led Professor Dr. Jason Baird Jackson, a distinguished American scholar in folklore and anthropology, the Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology, Indiana University Bloomington, USA, and is also serving as a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Humanities, Naresuan University, on a courtesy visit to Associate Professor Dr. Sarintip Thantanee, Acting President of Naresuan University.
The meeting introduced Professor Jackson and explored strategies to strengthen academic collaboration between Naresuan University and Indiana University Bloomington, focusing on teaching, research, and faculty exchange in folklore, anthropology, ethnomusicology, and related humanities fields.
Professor Jackson’s internationally recognized expertise is expected to enhance academic excellence at Naresuan University. The collaboration aims to promote innovation in teaching and research, expand academic networks, and create opportunities for faculty and student engagement.
The meeting also reaffirmed both institutions’ commitment to strengthening global partnerships, enhancing research capacity, and advancing the internationalization of Naresuan University in pursuit of long-term academic excellence and international recognition.
