เมื่อวันที่ 15 กรกฎาคม 2569 งานวิจัยและบริการวิชาการ คณะมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร นำโดย ดร.ณัฐพร ไข่มุกข์ รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและบริการวิชาการ จัดโครงการ “Prof. Dr. Jason Baird Jackson: Empowering Climate Action through Green Innovation and Global Research Collaboration” ระหว่างวันที่ 15–16 กรกฎาคม 2569 ณ ห้องประชุมสุวรรณภิงคาร คณะมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนงบประมาณจากสำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม และมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระดับนานาชาติและการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ระหว่างนักวิชาการไทยและต่างประเทศ
โครงการนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก Professor Dr. Jason Baird Jackson จาก Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology, Indiana University Bloomington ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา เป็นวิทยากรถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ผ่านกิจกรรมทางวิชาการ 2 กิจกรรม ได้แก่ การบรรยายพิเศษหัวข้อ “Environmental Themes in Folklore Studies Research on Local Cultures in Southeastern North American and Southwestern China” ซึ่งนำเสนอองค์ความรู้ด้านคติชนวิทยา สิ่งแวดล้อม และวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่น และกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้หัวข้อ “Techniques and Methods for Writing Articles for International Publication” เพื่อถ่ายทอดเทคนิคการเขียนบทความวิชาการสำหรับการตีพิมพ์ในวารสารระดับนานาชาติ
ทั้งนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจาก ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อรอุษา สุวรรณประเทศ คณบดีคณะมนุษยศาสตร์ เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงาน โดยมีผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ นักวิจัย นิสิต บุคลากร และผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทั้งในรูปแบบ On-site และ Online เป็นจำนวนมาก สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของคณะมนุษยศาสตร์ในการพัฒนาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการและยกระดับศักยภาพด้านการวิจัยสู่ระดับนานาชาติ
On 15 July 2026, the Research and Academic Services Division, Faculty of Humanities, Naresuan University, led by Dr. Nattaporn Kaimook, the Associate Dean for Research and Academic Services, officially launched the project “Prof. Dr. Jason Baird Jackson: Empowering Climate Action through Green Innovation and Global Research Collaboration.” The programme is being held from 15–16 July 2026 at Suwannaphingkhan Conference Room, Faculty of Humanities, Naresuan University.
The project is funded by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and Naresuan University. It aims to strengthen international academic collaboration, foster knowledge exchange between Thai and international scholars, and enhance research capacity through global partnerships.
The programme is honoured to welcome Professor Dr. Jason Baird Jackson from the Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology, Indiana University Bloomington, USA, as the distinguished keynote speaker. Throughout the two-day programme, Professor Jackson is leading two major academic activities. The first is a special lecture entitled “Environmental Themes in Folklore Studies Research on Local Cultures in Southeastern North America and Southwestern China,” which explores the intersections of folklore, environmental studies, and local cultural knowledge. The second is an academic knowledge-sharing session, “Techniques and Methods for Writing Articles for International Publication,” designed to equip participants with practical strategies for preparing high-quality manuscripts for publication in internationally indexed academic journals.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Onusa Suwanpratest, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities. The event attracted a large audience of university administrators, faculty members, researchers, students, staff, and participants from both on-site and online platforms. Their enthusiastic participation reflects the Faculty of Humanities’ strong commitment to advancing international academic collaboration, promoting research excellence, and enhancing the global competitiveness of its scholars through meaningful international engagement.
