คณะมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร ร่วมกับ กรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรม กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม และบ้านตุ๊กกะตุ่นหุ่นกระบอกไทย จัดโครงการเครือข่ายความร่วมมือเพื่อการทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรม เปิดเวทีการแสดงหุ่นกระบอกไทยในรูปแบบเดอะมิวสิคัล เรื่อง “ราชินีเคียงกษัตริย์ เดอะพัพเพ็ตโชว์” ตอน “The Royal Giant” เพื่อร่วมเทิดพระเกียรติและน้อมสำนึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณ เนื่องในโอกาสมหามงคลเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 4 รอบ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสุทิดา พัชรสุธาพิมลลักษณ พระบรมราชินี เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 13 สิงหาคม 2569 ณ โรงละครเฉลิมพระเกียรติ 72 พรรษา บรมราชินีนาถ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร
ภายในงาน ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อรอุษา สุวรรณประเทศ คณบดีคณะมนุษยศาสตร์ กล่าวรายงานวัตถุประสงค์ของโครงการ โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วัฒนา พัดเกตุ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิชาการ ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด พร้อมมอบของที่ระลึกแก่คณะนักแสดงหุ่นกระบอกไทยจากบ้านตุ๊กกะตุ่นหุ่นกระบอกไทย และร่วมถ่ายภาพเป็นที่ระลึก
การแสดง “ราชินีเคียงกษัตริย์ เดอะพัพเพ็ตโชว์” ตอน “The Royal Giant” ออกแบบและถ่ายทอดโดย ดร.นิเวศ แววสมณะ นำเสนอศิลปะหุ่นกระบอกไทยผ่านรูปแบบการแสดงร่วมสมัย เพื่อให้ศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทยสามารถเข้าถึงผู้ชมได้หลากหลายกลุ่ม โดยเฉพาะคนรุ่นใหม่ พร้อมทั้งสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงพลังของความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษา หน่วยงานภาครัฐ และเครือข่ายด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรมในการร่วมอนุรักษ์และเผยแพร่มรดกทางวัฒนธรรมของชาติ
Faculty of Humanities Joins Cultural Partners to Present “The Royal Giant” Thai Puppet Performance in Honour of Her Majesty Queen Suthida
August 13, 2026- Faculty of Humanities, Naresuan University, in collaboration with the Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture, and Baan Tookkatoon Thai Puppet, organized a cultural collaboration project featuring the Thai puppet musical “The Queen Beside the King: The Puppet Show”, with the episode “The Royal Giant”, at the 72nd Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit Theatre, Naresuan University.
The special performance was presented in honour of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty’s 48th Birthday Anniversary, expressing loyalty and profound gratitude for Her Majesty’s royal benevolence.
At the opening ceremony, Asst. Prof. Dr. Onusa Suwanpratest, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, delivered the project report and outlined the objectives of the cultural collaboration. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wattana Padgate, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Naresuan University, presided over the opening ceremony and presented commemorative gifts to the Thai puppet performers from Baan Tookkatoon Thai Puppet.
Designed and directed by Dr. Niwet Waewsammana, “The Queen Beside the King: The Puppet Show – The Royal Giant” reimagined the traditional art of Thai puppetry through a contemporary musical performance. By combining cultural heritage with modern approaches to storytelling and performance, the production sought to make Thai traditional arts more accessible and engaging to diverse audiences, particularly younger generations.
Beyond the performance itself, the project demonstrated the power of collaboration among higher education institutions, government agencies, and cultural networks in preserving, revitalizing, and transmitting Thailand’s cultural heritage. Through such partnerships, traditional performing arts can remain connected to contemporary society while inspiring new generations to appreciate, engage with, and carry forward the nation’s cultural legacy.
