Strive for lecturer and student research excellence by promoting research that covers local issues, and build research partnerships in the humanities with other research organizations. Provide research facilities and support for novice researchers with an emphasis on value-added research utilization, and in enhancing teaching and learning of languages, music, and performing arts. Support research publication and distribution to promote academic reputation and build up the local economy.
Increase impact on society by raising funds for arts and culture, along with Thai and foreign languages. Provide academic knowledge to the lower northern region of Thailand and local communities through job training, foreign language courses, and performing arts aimed at elevating people’s quality of life, as well as being an academic resources and helping boost the community economy.
Be the leader in Thai arts, cultural preservation, and local history. Support the study of cultural preservation and local historical revitalization in adaptive and integrative ways including hosting arts and cultural events.
Be committed to the principles of a “Happy Workplace” with flexibility, modernization, and good administration by allowing each department to manage its own budget and curricular affairs. Develop strategies and arrange activities that strengthens relationships, unity, and builds teamwork under democratic principles in respect to academic freedom and responsibility rather than control. Resolve conflicts within the organization and elevate the faculty’s morale and positive motivation, as well as instill a ‘sense of unity’ among faculty members.
